Alix Pinho

Alix Pinho was born in Fortaleza, Brazil January/26/1989
She specializes in developing original and exclusive attires and colorful abstract paintings.

Since our dad is an architect and our mom is an artisan who especializes in fabric´s paint, Alix was thrust into the world of art and design at a very young age. When she was 19, she had her own studio at our hometown in Brazil where she was already designing and selling clothes. 
After her college studies, Alix moved to the United States in 2008 to spend time with her sisters Izi and myself. Since her main goal was to learn english, she ended up having a lot time in her hands and that was when she begun painting. 

My sister, although very young, is extremely talented and it was great to see her collection of amazing and original dresses after she arrived back to Brazil from the U.S.
With my mother's help, she was able to transfer her collection of colorful paintings into the clothes by hand-painting them at her studio in Fortaleza.

           

Nowadays, the 22 year old designer , paints pictures with an incredible and unique style. A few months ago she was a guest at Fortaleza Fashion 2010. Alix made a striking appearence with a show blending art, fashion and music.

Currently, Alix lives in England and is following her studies in music and fashion design at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, these are some of her new work:
